The first online installment of this year's Bang on a Can Marathon last month was a spectacular success (artistically if not technically — but as everybody has commented, technical fuck-ups are as much a part of the BOAC Marathon tradition as running late is).  So don't even think of missing this one.  It's like everything this List stands for, in one 6-hour slice.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Let's use up more of those mint leaves in a parade of Southside Fizzes throughout the day:  muddle 8-10 (by which I mean 10:  we've got to use those suckers!) mint leaves in a cocktail shaker.  Pour in 2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. lime juice, and 1-1/2 tablespoons of Simple Syrup.  Fill with ice.  Stir.  Double-strain into a Highball glass over ice.  Top with club soda.  Garnish with a mint sprig.
