Adam Tendler performed a stunning Live Stream recital somewhere or other a month or so ago.  So hopes for this new piano recital are high.  Contemporary classical — Glass and Tendler himself — performed with guts and finesse.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I still think of the Last Word as a supreme cocktail (and so easy to make!):  pour 3/4 oz. each of Gin (I urge you to use Monkey 47 in this, as it stands up to Green Chartreuse better than any other I know), Green Chartreuse, Maraschino liqueur, and lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
