Molly Joyce finally gets to go ahead with the release party for her excellent new album.  Joyce makes extremely compelling, compulsively listenable electroacoustic music, prominently featuring her favored instrument the toy organ, that manages to sooth and provoke in equal measure.  Her new album, Breaking and Entering — having an implicit theme of the consequences, positive and negative, of physical disability — is a great listen.  Tonight she belatedly celebrates its official release, with music from the record, performances, and chat.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I think I like the Fair Harvard even more than the plain old Harvard cocktail it springs from:  pour 2 oz. Pisco and 1 oz. Vermouth Blanc, with 3 dashes of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a Martini glass or coupe.  Squeeze a lemon twist into the drink, and then drop the peel in.
