The fab alt string quartet ETHEL brings its weekly recitals in the Met Balcony Bar home (theirs and yours).  Expect old and new music, and surprise guests (from still more homes).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A perfect drink for an early Friday evening, the Fresh Air:  muddle 2 orange slices and 5 thyme sprigs in a cocktail shaker.  Pour in 1 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. each of Vermouth Blanc and lemon juice, and 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup.  Shake very hard.  Strain into a wine glass half filled with ice.  Stir in 1 oz. Belgian-style White Ale.  Garnish with another thyme sprig.
