Arab-futurist performance polymath Leyya Tawil's Nomadic Signals series goes online with a piece by poet Maraw Helal with a musical assist from Saint Abdullah that seems just about perfect:  a "meditatively noisy reflection on the intersections of pandemic and bureaucracy".

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Toronto:  pour 2 oz. Rye and 1/4 oz. each of Fernet and Simple Syrup, and 2 dashes of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Squeeze an orange peel into the drink, and toss it in as a garnish.
