Flautist Emma Hospelhorn of the formidable Ensemble Dal Niente and cellist Katinka Kleijn of the Chicago Symphony, no less (people in NYC may remember her absolutely wonderful rendition of Dai Fujikura's Cello Concerto with ICE a few summers ago), present a program including not only their own duo set, but sets by such excellent psych-leaning artists as Chicago synthesist Oui Ennui and New York singer-songwriter/string improviser Samara Lubelski (whose "The Fleeting Skies" remains a fave song of mine).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  The Brain-Duster is aptly named:   pour 1 oz. each of Rye, sweet Vermouth, and Absinthe, with a dash of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
