Any piano trio that teams up Stefan Jackiw, Jay Campbell, and Conrad Tao is obviously a big deal indeed.  Tonight they pair Beethoven's Archduke Trio — all the nobility this type of music strives for, with none of the bombast — with John Zorn's Ghosts.  (See, I'd have paired Ghosts with Beethoven's Ghost Trio — which is why I'm a hack wordslinger and they're brilliant musicians.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A Champs Elysees will do:  pour 1-1/2 oz. Cognac, 1/2 oz. green Chartreuse, 3/4 oz. lemon juice, and 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup, with 2 dashes of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
