An exploration of the fall of the Roman Republic as it applies to now.  I have to say that, even as someone who trained as an historian, I find retrospective historicizing a bit late at this point; we might better spend our time right now looking to the Belarusians for tips on direct action after an election is stolen or defied.  But I'm just an arts writer, so what do I know?
