British theatermaker Emma Rice brings fun and connection — you might even say joy — to the theater.  Sure, she can be sentimental — but who's going to hold that against her at this exact moment in human history?  So if this new musical — which was supposed to be touring the U.S. and abroad live this season, but you know — seems like it might be a cute candy-coated rom com, well, so what?  You KNOW it'll be a fun, cleverly presented, vibrant cute candy-coated rom com.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Pimm's Cup:  pour 2 oz. Pimm's No. 1 and 1/4 oz. lemon juice into a Highball glass over ice.  Top with ginger ale.  Garnish with cucumber and whatever else you might have lying around.
