Chilean Invasion at The Jazz Gallery!  First, Camila Meza, now saxophonist Melissa Aldana.  One of the most purely enjoyable voices of her generation on her instrument, Aldana plays with imagination and rigor.  She's backed by a quartet.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Those at home can make Chilean Pisco Sours, which might not be quite as good as their Peruvian counterparts (sorry) but are easier to make:  pour 3 oz. Chilean Pisco and 1 oz. lime juice, with 2 teaspoons of powdered sugar, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Pour into a chilled Champagne flute or some such.  Those in the audience can try to snag a table on the NoMad Rooftop before or after the early show, or before the late show.
