This updated presentation of Sophocles's towering play about the intractability of fate and the folly of hubris features the great Kathryn Hunter.  (They're pushing its relevance by saying it treats an overconfident ruler during a time of plague — but come on, that's like the half of it.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Rome with a View:  pour 1 oz. each of Campari, dry Vermouth, and lime juice, and 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a Highball or Collins glass over ice.   Top with club soda.  Garnish with an orange slice.
