Indonesian director Garin Nugroho spearheads a pan-Melanesian lament, music by Papuan composer Septina Rosalina Layan, for a world that's lost (with the hope of a good new one) (fat chance).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Biloxi Deluxe #2: rinse a wine glass with Absinthe. Pour in 1-3/4 oz. Cognac and 1/2 oz. each of Swedish Punsch and water, with 2 dashes of orange bitters. Express an orange peel into the drink and discard the rind.
