Another in Bowerbird's enormously appealing series of recitals designed to put you to sleep — in a good way! This one's by Jeff Zeigler — the synth player, not the cellist.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Hot Toddy: pour 4 oz. hot water, 1-1/2 oz. Whiskey (try something Irish), and 1 oz. honey syrup into a mug. Garnish with a clove-studded half lemon wheel (I'll admit it: I find sticking the cloves into the rind of the lemon wheel kind of enjoyable). Don't just stick it onto the side of the mug: toss it into the drink.
