Years before he took over European theater (well, at least the Avignon Festival), the Portuguese theater-maker Tiago Rodrigues created an international hit in memory of his grandmother, who in her declining days asked him to help her select a text to memorize as she could no longer read, in which Rodrigues teaches 10 audience members a poem to memorize, while reflecting on literature and other matters.
