Puppets! (You might [or might not] be wondering why this List is so partial to puppet theater. Well, I'll tell you: puppet theater generally calls for the abandonment of the kind of naturalism and straightforward narrative that this List abjures in theater.) (Of course, when puppet theater tries for naturalism and straightforward narrative, it's even more intolerable than when human theater does. But that won't be a problem in this Festival.) Note that the wide-ranging Puppet Slam is on Wednesday (7:00 PM), Thursday (8:30 PM), and Friday (8:30 PM).
