Aaron Siegel's marvelous and ultimately quite moving opera on Janet Frame finally gets a full airing. The cast consists of people who get mentioned here a lot.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, plausible bistro at Bacchus. Live streaming at home, have a Godfather, one of the few decent cocktails to come out of the '70s: pour 1-1/2 oz. Scotch and 1/2 oz. Amaretto into an Old Fashioned glass over ice. Stir.
