The annual festival returns to live performance — mostly. Cuz the undoubted highlight this year will be Terry Riley virtually/remotely collaborating with Brooklyn Raga Massive on their Karnatic reworking of Riley's beyond-classic In C. Lots of other great stuff, too (not all of it Indian).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: For what it is, Red Hook Tavern is just about perfect (the best shrimp cocktail I've ever had; probably the best burger in New York; etc.). It would be silly not to eat there.
