Modernized performances of trad Korean music are given in New York, Seoul, and Davenport, Washington. If you go in person, you get to watch the New York performance live in the theater and remote live screenings of the other performances. Streaming at home, you obviously watch remote live streams of all of them. (I'm planning to cook some Korean food for dinner after I finish writing this portion of this newsletter, and this is making me very hungry.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: If you go live, I haven't heard particularly good things about the new iteration of Temple Bar — but we have to try it, right? At home, make a Soju Screwdriver: pour 1 oz. Soju and 3 oz. orange juice into a tall glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange wedge.
