Experimental pop percussionist Booker Stardrum is unfailingly interesting. (I'm not mentioning who his father is.) Violinist Joanna Mattrey and cellist+ Lester St. Louis make unbeautiful music together. Jaime Branch, a hip-hop-loving saxophonist, is a force of nature (well of art, actually).
