Cuz the moon gets a lot of exposure on the longest night of the year, , the Argento Chamber Ensemble will perform Schoenberg's genuinely magical (and historically über-significant) music-theater piece Pierrot Lunaire. Also, a world premiere by Yotam Haber, and some Tania León (setting Margaret Atwood) and List personal fave the rhythmically intense Donatoni!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, I can't not send you around the corner to the sterling West African steam table at B&B Restaurant. Streaming at home, have a Bella Luna: pour 2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. St-Germain, 1/2 oz. Creme de Violette, 3/4 oz. lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
