Alto sax player Tim Berne brings his personal combination of the abstract and the raunchy to a collaboration with guitarist Gregg Belisle-Chi.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, supra-neighborhood Mexican at Fonda. At home, have a Sazerac: soak a sugar cube in 3 dashes of Peychaud's bitters at the bottom of a cocktail shaker, and then muddle. Pour in 2 oz. Rye. Stir. Rinse a chilled Old Fashioned glass with Absinthe. Pour the drink into the rinsed glass. Express a lemon twist into the drink and discard the rind.
