If you can forgo a show with Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson, Iggy Pop, Flaming Lips, Chocolate Genius, Inc. and his daughter Tessa Thompson, Brittany Howard, and MORE . . . well, you're made of sterner stuff than I am.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Happy Buddha: pour 1-1/2 oz. Añejo Tequila, 1/4 oz. Cointreau, 4 oz. guava nectar (yeah for this you would use canned), 1/2 oz. lime juice, and 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a schooner (you can use a snifter if you don't have a schooner). Now, the fun part: garnish with a lime wheel you've studded with cloves (I don't why I enjoy doing that so much).
