An adaptation of Euripides's The Madness of Heracles, putting the focus on its pre-echos of contemporary American gun violence.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Oriental: pour 1-1/2 oz. Rye, 3/4 oz. each sweet Verrmouth and Cointreau, and 1/2 oz. lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
