Oh my. Let's start with Lisel, the pop name of soprano Eliza Bagg. This List just adores Bagg, for her future-pop, her New Music singing, and her Early Music singing. But wait: there's more! The music is by the percussionist/electronic composer Booker Stardrum (whose father, to the extent it matters, was the Harry Partch partisan Dean Drummond). Choregraphy by Gwendolyn Gussman. MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Wild Eyed Rose: pour 2 oz. Irish Whiskey and 3/4 oz. each of Grenadine and lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a cocktail cherry and a lime wedge.
