In celebration of a new album by Brooklyn-in-London Alt Popster Arminda K, Floordoor Records spotlights some of its artists and friends resident in Brooklyn and in London. Don't know much about the London scene now that I barely leave my apartment, but the Brooklyn contingent includes at least two bands I just love, groovy Psych-Soul-Popsters Madam West and Dada-Pop-Punkers WSABI Fox. And the single from Arminda K's upcoming album is really good!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Downtown: pour 1-1/2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. each of yellow Chartreuse, pineapple juice, and lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.
