The splendid International Contemporary Ensemble shares some fruits of its residency this month at Mount Tremper Arts in the Catskills. And that includes a collaboration with space cowboy (and huge List fave) Rick Burkhardt, a piece by the wild Euromodernist Helga Arias, and pieces from an album the Ensemble is recording of the unexpected and compelling work of members of the Iranian Female Composers Association. And . . . something by Pauline Oliveros, who has provided many of us with a soundtrack for the Quarantine even if she didn't live to experience it herself.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Royal Smile: pour 1 oz. Gin and 3/4 oz. each of Applejack, Grenadine, and lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
