The NYU composers' collective Nevermind the Noise would get a nod just for its name — even if its members' music weren't being performed by the fabulous Hypercube.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: If you're wondering how these pairings get decided upon, know that the Gimlet variation the Gillette was invented by an early 20th Century mixologist named Tom Bullock (you'll have to figure out the last stefor yourself): pour 2-1/4 oz. Old Tom Gin and 1/2 oz. lime juice, with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
