A musical about Edgar Allan Poe's boyhood in an English boarding school. Wait, the whole point of Edgar Allan Poe is that he was American. In any event, horror musical specialists the coldhearts are very entertaining.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Should be Poe's favorite Brandy Egg Nog, but that's too much work to make. Instead, let's have a few Amontillados and Tonics (no one ever has just one of these): pour 3 oz. Amontillado Sherry and 1 teaspoon of Simple Syrup, with 2 dashes of orange bitters, into a goblet over ice. Top with tonic water. Express a lemon peel into the drink and then discard the rind. Garnish with an orange wheel and some mint sprigs.
