Julia Mounsey and Peter Mills Weiss have the reputation of being theatrically confrontational to the point of being scary. That, of course, is a GOOD thing. This piece purports to be about misery, hopelessness, and following directions. Duh.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Pin Cushion: pour 1-1/2 oz. Rye, 3/4 oz. each of sweet Vermouth and Campari, and 1/4 oz. Absinthe into a rocks glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange twist.
