Playwright/performer/director/producer Modesto Flako Jimenez drove a cab for years. Which gave him a street-level perspective of his Bushwick neighborhood — the one behind the fashionplate. There are two ways to do this show. Pods of up to three people can take a cab ride with Jimenez, who'll chat about the neighborhood (scarce cab reservations are available by lottery). Or you can take a text-guided walking tour of Bushwick.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Grab some Birria at Nene's Deli Taqueria and eat it in Maria Hernandez Park.
