If you don't love Brazilian Choro music, well, I just don't know. It's wild and contrapuntal, like Early Jazz — but it's from Brazil, so it lilts. New York being New York, there are a few fine local Choro bands here — and Regional de NY is one of the finest.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Is there any way we're not downing multiple Caipirinhas during this show? Cut 1/2 lime into 4 wedges. Put in the bottom of an Old Fashioned glass with 2 teaspoons of superfine sugar. Muddle. Poor in 2 oz. Cachaça. Stir. Add ice. Stir again. Garnish with a lime wheel.
