Merrill Garbus's phenomenal band/art project Tune-Yards celebrates the release of a new album. Their music pops. It rocks. It lilts. The vocal textures reach out and grab you. (As you might be able to tell, I kind of like them.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Freight Train Swizzle: pour 1-1/2 oz. aged Rum and 3/4 oz. each of Green Chartreuse, Falernum, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ICE. Dry shake. Pour into a mug or tall glass 3/4 full with crushed ice. Stick in a straw. Shake in 3 dashes of Angostura bitters. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with some mint and grated nutmeg.
