Prepared piano player Shi-An Costello has commissioned a bunch of new works for that constantly surprising, constantly clanking instrument from composers throughout the country.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Embassy: pour 3/4 oz. each of Jamaican Rum, Brandy, and Cointreau, and 1/2 oz. lime juice, with 1 dash of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lime wedge.
