The performing composers' collective (fuck it, really they're a band) Oracle Hysterical is the very model of what this List is about. They do contemporary Alt Classical, with heavy tinges of pop and Baroque. Their music is inventive and formally valid — but it cares if you listen. They will do their stuff — a new song cycle about unfamiliar climes — in front of the Library with Hub New Music pitching in with additional instrumental support.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Olmsted's Quarantine menu is kind of basic (for them). But the backyard seating area is charming in the extreme.
