Flautist extraordinaire Laura Cocks presents an evening of compositions for flute, voice, physically modeled ensembles, tools, and balloons. And the composers are the great elder George Lewis and young comers Natacha Diels, Jessie Cox, Bethany Younge, Weston Olencki, and flautist extraordinaire Laura Cocks!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: If you go to the venue, it'll be nice to walk around the corner to the welcoming and delicious Kind of Soul. At home, have a French Pearl: pour 2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. lime juice, 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon Absinthe, with a small handful of mint, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
