With Spring finally really springing, we celebrate with an attempted, not really recreation, but reflection of ceremonies worshipping Persephone at the Temple of Aphrodite in Paphos, Cyprus. (Wait I thought the main rites for Persephone and her mom Demeter were celebrated at Eleusis in Greece — and that the Temple of Aphrodite in Paphos was known for other things. Well, don't listen to me.) This particular version of the rite involves music, snacks, and general immersive performance.
