Vocalist/percussionist Anaïs Maviel's music is, quite simply, magical. Tonight, accompanied by the rad string quartet The Rhythm Method, she premieres a new piece applying Afrocentric and Eurocentric musical elements to an Asian subject. Prepare to be transfixed.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: If you go to the venue, it'll be nice to walk around the corner to the welcoming and delicious Kind of Soul. At home, have a Clear As Rain: pour 1/2 oz. each of Blanco Tequila and Kummel, 1 teaspoon of Crème de Cacao, and 2 oz. water into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
