The excellent sound artist Ka Baird presents a multi-media piece involving instruments, electronics, voice, and field recordings — and movement and installations.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: If you go to the venue, it'll be nice to walk around the corner to the welcoming and delicious Kind of Soul. At home, usher in Summer with a Django Reinhardt: put 2 orange slices at the bottom of a cocktail shaker and pour in 3 oz. dry Vermouth and 3/4 oz. each of lemon juice and Simple Syrup into a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ICE. Muddle. Add ice. Shake. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with another orange slice.
