Persian classical song is something great. It seems to calmly spin and yet remain static. And it has really great Persian love poetry — think of Rumi — to set. (Of course, there's the added bonus that you can never quite tell if the object of love is human or divine.) There'll be Persian dance as well. In an incredibly beautiful (Persian-inspired) setting. With Persian snacks!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: It's not particularly near the Untermyer Park & Gardens, but the place to eat in Yonkers is X20 Xavier's on the Hudson.
