Seven storefronts over three blocks, each housing a different short play by a different playwright concerning a different Sin. This looks great on paper. But I have to quote a passage from the promotional materials that's one of the funniest things I've yet read this Summer: "a thrilling evening that merges live theater with performance art, dazzling design, and CDC-mandated regulations". Thrilling! And the show lives up to its promo material: MOR bourgeois entertainment for straight people (in the cultural sense) who want to think they're edgy.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Remember when the original Pastis seemed to signal The End Of The Meatpacking District? Now, the new revival seems like a charming return.
