To me, this show heralds the real return of live performance. It's the kind of offhandedly great bill that we used to take for granted — and if it now seems like manna from heaven, well, maybe it just means we're returning to some kind of normalcy. We can only hope. Mario Diaz de Leon is a really good (classical) composer who's also a really good electronics guy (he'll be doing the latter tonight). Percussionist-about-town Clara Warnaar loves being all ambient and then bashing things. Is Crisantemos the dreamy electronics act I know from Mexico City? Hope so!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Get drinks at the venue, under the massive Iggy Pop portrait. Beforehand, grab some wonderful Nepali food at the extremely charming While in Katmandu.
