The Vision Festival returns, with its usual blend of often amazing, celestial, never-to-be-repeated Free Jazz by some of the best musicians in the world and almost unbearably naive cultural politics.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Thursday and Friday in Red Hook, Red Hook Tavern has a burger almost as epic as the lineup at the Vision Festival. Saturday and Sunday on the Lower East Side, Bahamian-Chinese (this is a thing) at The Bun Hut.
