An incredibly good mixed dance program. Just picking a few of the stellar participants: Kyle Abraham! Taylor Stanley (with Ned Sturgis)! Maile Okamura accompanied by her house violinist, Colin Jacobsen! Too bad Little Island (and particularly its performance venues) is like Yale: it's technically there, but you can't expect to get in.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: The Japanese-inflected cocktails and bar snacks at Katana Kitten may not be quite as good as those at Bar Goto — but that's setting a mighty high bar!
