Tyshawn Sorey — simultaneously one of the best composers around and one of the best players/improvisers — tries conduction with the peerless International Contemporary Ensemble. Too bad Little Island (and particularly its ticketed performance venue) is like 4 Charles: it's technically there, but don't expect to get in.
