Some of the best queer Latin pop there is, period. Rita Indiana takes Rock En Español (not that anybody calls it that anymore) farther than it's ever been, musically and in terms of gender insurrection; this is some of the best pop music that anybody's making anywhere. In her subtle way, Lido Pimienta is even more startling, doing something similar to "folkloric" music. YENDRY seems ordinary by comparison to those two — but her heart's in the right place.
