A really fabulous week of shows in this New Music festival, culminating with Alarm Will Sound playing a new Tyshawn Sorey piece called For George Lewis that at least notionally unites Sorey's Feldmanesque side with his avant-jazz side (although dedicatee George Lewis's music is truly beyond category).
