Natalia Lafourcade started out as a really good Mexican rock singer-songwriter and then moved into being a really good Mexican pop/trad singer-songwriter. She’ll be doing the first live performances anywhere ever of some new material. And guesting with her will be the great great great (very great) Cuban singer Omara Portuondo. (Too bad Carnegie Hall is such a totally sucky venue for amplified music.)
