A second chance this weekend to see a live-music-accompanied showing of F.W. Murnau’s monumentally creepy 1922 silent vampire movie/masterpiece of German Expressionist film, Nosferatu. Tonight’s accompaniment is very interesting: an organ transcription of Aaron Copland’s very early lost-and-found ballet Grogh — which it turns out was inspired by Murnau’s film!
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You will be right across the street from the Uptown branch of New York’s second-best (that’s still saying a lot!) Dominican chain, Malecon.
