Dana Wachs in Vorhees guise has composed an electro-acoustic score for a 1923 silent film realization of Oscar Wilde’s Salomé. Vorhees isn’t afraid of dissonance, and her score should be almost as intense as Strauss’s — if a good deal less overbearing.
