Jessie Cox, an exciting composer/percussionist, in two settings: a duo with the adventurous flautist Laura Cocks (no relation), and helping expand the punk chamber sounds of violin duo String Noise, along with Cocks, pianist Sam Yulsman, and New York’s furthest-out bassoonist, Joy Guidry.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, ramen at Naruto. At home, have a Little Drummer Boy: pour 2-1/2 oz. aged Rum, 3/4 oz. sweet Vermouth, and 2 teaspoons Maple Syrup, with 4 dashes of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
